Crippa Heavy BWT Series 170MHE

CNC tube bending machine with full automatic cycle. The 170MHE is a completely electric tube bending for process tubes up to 170mm in diameter and 12mm in thickness in mild steel with Direct Drive technology. It was created for heavy processes that require only one bending level. Its nine axes with Full Electric Technology are managed by a CNC Siemens 840D sl, which ensures maximum precision during the bending phase. The technical solutions adopted for this machine provide extreme rigidity and precision. Single stack and multiradius, this machine is equipped with a last generation absolute servomotor with integrated feedback and diagnostics. Like the multistack version, the 170MHE is able to bend tubes with large thicknesses (6” sch.80). Even though it is quite large, this tube bending machine consumes very little due to the application of Full Electric Technology with the Green Power philosophy. The operator’s comfort is guaranteed by its ergonomic configuration. The 170MHE, like the other machines in the Heavy BWT series, uses three-dimensional graphics software for simulations, programming and optimising the bending process: the operator has access to the UII (User Iso Interface) through the 19” LCD touch screen display. This machine is designed to be integrated into Smart Factory systems.
