CNC tube bending machine with full automatic cycle. The CONCEPT80 is the new tube bending machine designed by Crippa to respond to the specific needs of exhaust pipe manufacturers: it offers an innovative solution based on the patented concept of a tool change integrated into the process for tubes of up to 80mm in diameter. Compared to machines with integrated cycle change that are already available on the market, CONCEPT80 stands out for its speed, efficiency and rigidity. This last feature is its strong point, because it permits extreme precision. CONCEPT80 can make multistack and monoradius bends (the radius can be changed during set-up) and has a built-in, double blade, in-cycle, electrical cutting system. This tube bending machine has a machine tool change column with 4 positions and can work with both manual and automatic loading. The column makes it possible to process complex tubes as if they had monostack bends, thus simplifying both the production of the equipment and process simulation. Equipment parts can be reused and combined with other new parts to produce different product codes with obvious advantages in terms of cost accounting. The double blade electrical cutting device coupled with the tool change column makes it possible to cut on straight and contoured clamp dies during the same process, which makes it possible to produce pieces that do not need trimming after leaving the machine. The cutting unit is set up so that the position of the blade can be adjusted easily relative to the axis of curvature. The configuration of the CONCEPT80 permits a rapid ergonomic set-up which is also suitable for placing the machine in automated cells. The machine is controlled by a Siemens 840D sl with 19" touch screen control panel. Programming is done using simplified UII interface software. The CONCEPT80 can be set up with numerous optional accessories and can be connected to the Crippa I4.0 production control and performance systems.
